The foldable baby bath

Stokke® Flexi Bath® is a foldable baby bath suitable from birth to four years. The space saving design makes it easy to store and convenient to use at home or when traveling, encouraging more shared bath time moments. The optional Stokke® Flexi Bath® Newborn Support provides additional comfort for newborn babies. Because Stokke are always striving to improve our products, we´re offering a heat sensitive drain plug. The plug works by turning colours, when the water gets warm giving parents a visual cue, letting them know that the water temperature is getting needs to be checked. Please note that the plug is not a thermometer. Always double-check the water temperature with your hand to ensure that it is the right temperature for your baby´s comfort and safety. If you are in any doubt, use a reliable thermometer for accuracy.

Safety and Certifications

The Stokke® Flexi Bath® meets strict safety standards, providing a
secure and enjoyable bathing experience for young children.

Proper Water Temperature: Always test the water temperature before putting your child in the Flexi Bath®. The ideal temperature for bathing a baby should be between 90-100°F / 32-38°C​​​​.

Care with Additives: Do not add baby oil or any other liquids to the water, as prolonged use of such liquids may damage the soft plastic (TPE) of the bath​​​​.

Usage of Heat-Sensitive Plug: The heat-sensitive plug is intended as an additional indicator of water temperature and should not replace caregiver vigilance. It should be replaced after 2 years​​.

Water Level Caution: Never fill the Flexi Bath® with more water than 2/3 of its capacity. If used with the Newborn Support, never fill water above the maximum water level indication on the support​​.

Avoiding Physical Hazards: Children should never stand up or lean on the sides of the Flexi Bath® when in use, as this could result in falls, injuries, or damage to the bath​​.

Supervision and Care: Children must always remain under adult supervision when the bath tub is being used. After use, rinse the tub to remove any residue from soap or bathing products before storing it​​.

Product Handling and Storage: Do not lift the Flexi Bath® by the closing mechanism. Always check the stability of the product before use, and do not use it if it is damaged, broken, or disassembled. It is advised not to use the Flexi Bath® on an elevated surface except with the Flexi Bath stand.

Care and Maintenance for Stokke® Flexi Bath®

Routine Cleaning:

After Each Use: Rinse the Flexi Bath® with water to remove any soap residue or other bathing products. This is crucial to prevent any build-up and maintain the integrity of the materials.

Drying: Wipe the tub with a soft cloth after rinsing.
Ensuring the tub is dry before storage helps in maintaining its condition and preventing any mildew or mold growth.

Folding for Storage: Once the tub is dry, it can be easily folded for storage. This feature is particularly useful for saving space in your home or when traveling.

Handling and Usage:

Water Drainage: Always place the Flexi Bath® over a drain for easy water removal. Remove the plug in the tub to drain the water efficiently.

Closing

Mechanism: Be careful not to scratch yourself on the closing mechanism of the tub. It is also advised not to bite or put the plug or closing mechanism in your mouth​​.

Safety Precautions:

Adult Supervision: Ensure constant adult supervision when the bath tub is in use, especially with young children.

Stability Check: Regularly check the stability of the
product before use to ensure it is safe for your child.

Avoid Elevated Surfaces: Never use the Stokke® Flexi Bath® on an elevated surface unless it is being used on the compatible Flexi Bath Stand​​.

Product Longevity:

Inspection for Damage: Discontinue the use of the Stokke® Flexi Bath® if it becomes damaged, broken, or disassembled. Regular inspection can help in identifying any potential issues early on.

Replacement Parts: Use only replacement parts or
accessories approved by the manufacturer to ensure the safety and longevity of the product​​.

Warranty Information

Stokke offers an Extended Warranty for several of its products, enhancing the standard warranty period to either 3 or 7 years. To benefit from this, you need the product's serial number and proof of purchase.

The Extended Warranty covers manufacturing faults that occur during normal recommended use and maintenance as specified in the product's user guide and instruction manual​​.
